Best week of TY by faaaar

Work experience in KPMG

Last week I did work experience in KPMG. It was a great experience. Every morning I had to get the 67x into town, except for Friday (I got the train, due to the bus strike).

While I was in there, I had a lot to do. I had to check over accounts and make sure that they totaled correctly, I had to research businesses and check that everything we had matched, and a lot more.

I had to wear proper office clothes. I enjoyed dressing up. It made me feel older and like a mature woman!!!!!!!!

I was very lucky, because I was treated to lunch three times that week wow !!!!!!! The first time was on Monday (by Colm and James), the second time was on Thursday (by my second cousin, Deirdre (who also works in KPMG)), and the third time was on Friday (by Emmet). On Monday, We went to the Green Bench Café. On Thursday we went to Eddie Rockets. On Friday, we went to the Gourmet Burger Kitchen. So fab #yum.

The weather wasn't great during the week. It rained  nearly every day. But on Thursday it was very hot, especially during the afternoon. Because it was so hot, Emmet got me to go around with a sheet of paper and to ask everyone in the office what type of ice-cream they would like. After I asked everyone, I gave the list back to Emmet and he went out to the shop and bought them. I got a twister and it was v nice :)

I really enjoyed my week.Everybody was so friendly and funny. I will really miss them all :( I can't wait until I can go back and hopefully get a job. I was so glad of being out of school for the week. I didn't actually miss being with my friends in school, although it was fairly heartbreaking not being able to see my numba one huns xxx AKA Meadhbh (Tolster-Dunne) and my fav cousin Laura :(

After my week in KPMG, it has really made me think about the future. Before, I wasn't sure as to whether I wanted to be a primary school teacher or an accountant. But now I know that I definitely want to be an accountant and I can't wait !!!!!

Hippin' Hoppin'

TY hip hop

For the past few weeks, we have been doing hip hop. Half of Belle do it every Friday with Aurora. The other half of Belle do it on a Thursday with Ariel. I do it on the Friday.

It takes up two classes. I miss maths and religion (woop woop ~directed at Laura Smith~). We do the dancing in the hall. The girl who teaches us the dances is called Karen. She's very nice. 

We are doing the dances for TY night. They are so fun and I can't wait to perform them infront of everyone.

My last day of work experience in Avoca

Yesterday was my last day of work experience. I was very sad because I had such a good time in Avoca :( I got a thank you gift off Michelle (i was very happy)
