Junior Cert Results

Junior Cert results

Yesterday I got my JC results. I wasn't worried at all as I walked to the school, but as I stood in line to get my envelope off Ms. Hughes, I began to get really nervous. I couldn't bring myself to open them in the hall, so I ended up opening them when I was half way home! I was so happy with my results. I got 10 honours and 1 pass, which I was thrilled with as I was convinced that I failed history! I went home and told my mam and dad what I got and they both said that they were very proud of me.
Later that night we went to Wrights in Swords for our results night. We got a bus up and back from Tesco. Even though the bus was an hour late, we were all still very excited to get there.
There were many people at Wrights - It was packed. I didn't enjoy the night very much, but I had a lot of fun getting ready and getting the bus with all my friends  I much prefered JC night to results night, but I'm still looking forward to going to Wrights again.
We weren't back at Tesco until half one, and everyone was wrecked. Aoife stayed in mine for the night and we barely even got an hours sleep. We were still half asleep getting up in the morning but we got food so that was okay because food is life HA :)))

My First week in TY

My first week in TY

I had a good first week in TY. We got split into three different classes - Ariel, Belle and Aurora. I was put into class Belle. Our tutor is Mr. Lawlor. I'm happy with my class because I'm with a lot of my friends in it.
On Wednesday, we had our first day of workshops. The workshops were positive parties, first aid, and etiquette.
Our first workshop was the positive party one. I really enjoyed this workshop because I learned so much more about everyone in my class and the  person in charge was funny.
Next, we had first aid. This workshop was a really interesting one because I learned so much basic first aid, like how to stop someone from choking and how to put someone into the recovery position.
Our final workshop was the etiquette one. This was good because we learned how to walk properly in heels and we exfoliated our hands, which made them so soft.
My favourite workshop was the positive party one because I got to know a lot more about everyone in my class and the lady in charge was funny.
My favourite thing about TY so far is having double P.E. on a Monday and being mixed in all classes with people who do French and Spanish.
